We've been to Burdorf and Gold Fork ... both very different and completely worth the money. Burgdorf was very rustic (I'd have liked more space to store clothing, but it may have detracted from the rustic charm), but what a view during the winter! Gold Fork was just as remote, but very new and more man-made feeling with a clean, well-maintained yurt for changing clothes (lockers and clothes bins available) and getting drinks & snacks. The torches and votive-style lighting made it very atmospheric after dark. Great place to just star gaze.

Quaint hot springs pool located inside wildlife preserve - moose in the area! No garbage receptacles - you haul it in, you haul it out. Very clean.

The price at Gold Fork makes it a special event, not something we can do often, but the location was beautiful. The tubs were clean and the sandy bottom was great.
