I had never been there in the winter before. It was very nice and also very peacful even though it obviously services a large number of outdoor enthusiasts! The snowshoe trails could use a little more signage but other than that it was great!

Loved the groomed cross country ski tracks and especially the tiki torch skiing after dark. The trail was great for skiiers from age 5 to age 64.

Comments:
Ponderosa St. Park is a great place for a quick day hike. Hikes were easy to moderate and not too strenuous. Loved the marshes and the lake overlook. Thanks for making this place so awesome!

Comments:
Although, we have tried other nordic ski areas, we always return to Ponderosa Park trails. The other areas are poorly "signed". A visitor has no verification that money spent on other nordic areas is spent maintaining the trails, in fact, when I last visited the new "nordic club" site, the parking lot was unplowed and conditions so bad I feared getting my car mired in slush and deep snow.

Comments:
First time cross country skiing. The place was great. Lots of trails. Easy ones, but can work your way up to more challenging ones. Had a blast, but remember, the snow is harder than it looks. Especially when hitting it face first. :)
