State park was very user friendly, lots of trails crisscross ing the park, many beaches and picnic sites. It is a beautiful location and very close to town.

We had a beautiful hike, but the trail was poorly marked. We had our 4 yr old and 8 yr old, so we planned to do the loop (Meadow Marsh). We got pretty confused as to where to turn and luckily we were able to find a sign, after walking off the trail and finding the correct one. Not sure how we got where we were. Thankfully we found our way back and it was a great experience, but it could have turned out bad if we hadn't found our way back.

Comments:
After reading about the park turning back visitors last weekend (4th of July) I was worried we wouldn't be able to enter the park for a bike ride. Not only were we allowed to take our cruisers in the park - bikes were free! Oh Yea - it was a great experience!
