Location Category Description:
The Boise River runs through the cities of Boise and Eagle, offering many recreational opportunities. In the summer, it is quite common to see people relaxing on the Boise River in an inner tube, raft, kayak or canoe. Thanks to the Boise Greenbelt, about 25 miles of paved and unpaved pathway along the river, people are able to enjoy the river year around.
